A letter from a reader: Coeducation and generous gifts

I was fascinated by the list of 10 Princetonians on the Forbes' list of the 400 richest Americans in the Oct. 24 edition. Is there any billionaire on the list other than Meg Whitman '77 who has his/her name on a campus building because of a considerable donation to the University? It is ironic, isn't it, that one of the arguments against coeducation was that women would never be able to be as generous to Princeton as its male graduates! Thank you, Meg, for an absolutely stunning addition to campus architecture and undergraduate life.
