A letter from a reader: A question about climate change Re "A greener world … a greener Princeton" (Oct. 10): A very intriguing article, and one that raises a number of questions. For example, I would be interested in learning what professors Socolow and Pacala foresee as climate conditions in 2055, should we continue on the emissions-doubling path. What probability would they assign to that outcome? Other than extrapolation from recent climate trends (the apparent Al Gore approach), how do they support their conclusions? JOHN ACHENBACH '60
