LetterBox Letter from an alumnus Recalling 1948 snow sculptures Regarding the snow sculpture picture in the last two issues of the PAW: We have pictures of that particular sculpture, plus five others (a nude woman standing up, a nude woman lying on her side, a cat on a fire hydrant, a dog and a tiger.) The pictures were taken in January 1948 while I was on the faculty at Princeton. My two daughters, who were 3 and 4 years of age at the time, are in some of the pictures. The sculptures were amazing, but unfortunately we never found out who the very talented person was. MERLE LAWRENCE ’38 *41 Ann Arbor, Mich
