LetterBox Letter from an alumnus about Support for Depressed Students I , too, like C.O. Weinman, M.D., support the recommendations of the Task Force on Health and Well-Being. Reflecting back on my undergraduate years, I am to this day troubled by the suicide of one of my brilliant classmates. I must admit that at the time I was only shallowly disturbed that it led to restrictions on my access to Fine Hall, but from an arduously-gained mature perspective as a husband and father, the impact is painfully heightened. Students, if you are depressed, please seek assistance first, not ultimate oblivion. Your family and your classmates are there to support you. STEWART A. LEVIN ’75Centennial, Colo.
