LetterBox Letter from an alumnus saying Don't Change the Constitution In a profile (March 6) titled “Arnold for president,” there was reference to the provision in the constitution that the president of the United States must be native-born. It is my understanding that this provision was inserted specifically to preclude the possibility of Alexander Hamilton ever becoming president. Personally, I am inclined to leave this provision in place. C.A. PHILIPPE VON HEMERT ’44Friendship, Maine
