Letter from an alumnus about A Question Of Reasoning

Shannon Stoney '76 writes, "I will stop eating animals when animals stop eating animals" (Leters, March 9). Not all animals eat other animals. Some do. Some animal also routinely consume carrion, their own feces, and less commonly, their own offspring. Does Ms. Stoney blieve humans should imitate such behaviors? if not, she would do well to choose her role models more carefully.
