September 15, 2004: From the Archives Just as the University is off and running for another academic year,
so was this Princeton cross-country team poised for action in the early
1990s. The program began as a club sport along with women’s track
and field, and has won the Ivy League title three times under Coach Peter
Farrell since 1978, when it was granted varsity status. In 2003 the cross-country
team placed ninth in the NCAA championships. Can any PAW readers identify
these women?
