Using Acrobat Reader your Browser In order to view the OTA reports in this archive you will need to download the free Acrobat Reader software from Adobe Systems, Inc. Install the Reader software according to its instructions, then check to see that your browser is properly configured to view PDF files. As an example, for Netscape Navigator, select "General Preferences..." under the "Options" menu, then choose the "Helpers" tab in the dialog box that appears:

Find the entry for "Portable Document Format" or "application/pdf" (you may have to create a new entry if none exists). Choose the "Edit" button to specify the helper settings, bringing up a dialog box similar to the one below:

If you select the "PDF Viewer" plug-in, the OTA documents will appear within a Netscape window while the Acrobat Reader runs in the background. Alternately, you may select to save PDF files to your disk, or to open them directly after downloading using Acrobat Reader as a helper application.
