The Mission of the Princeton University Chapter of the NAACP

Like the original NAACP, The Princeton University Chapter of the NAACP is an interracial, interfaith, nonpartisan, social action organization. Our organization's main focus, however, will be on black Americans. In addition to the NAACP's national mission, our chapter's goals are as follows:
  • To promote the resurgence of student activism.
  • To proactively encourage black students' interest in Princeton University through visits to high schools, hosting of prospective students, etc.
  • To promote honest and accurate discussion of the past, present, and future state of race relations at Princeton University.
