Lead has the electronic configuration: (Xe)(4f)14(5d)10(6s)2(6p)2, and an atomic radius of 0.175 nm. At room temperature, lead has the fcc crystal structure with a basis of one Pb atom per lattice site. Lead has a Young's modulus of 14 GPa, a yield stress of 11 MPa, an UTS of 14 MPa, and fracture strain of 0.5. |
