The movie shows the dislocation loop expansion associated with a Frank
Reed source in a general stress field. The two black dots are the pinning
points in the slip plane. The shaded areas represent regions of the slip
plane over which slip has occurred due to the passage of a dislocation.
Dislocation loop shedding and dislocation recreation occur where the loop
cpllides with itself.
