Load Range Switch

The load range switch can be set as either "High" or "Low." In most experimental situations the "High" range will be selected.

Starting the Engine: Select the High range and set the Load Control Rheostat to 100.

Loading the Engine: For normal engine operating conditions, select the High range. If the engine is being run at part throttle it may be necessary to use the Low range to have adequate control over the steady state condition.
