Stirrer Motor
The stirrer motor drives
the blades that stir the water in the calorimeter to ensure uniformity
of temperature and good thermal contact with the thermistor. The motor is
connected to the stirrer by a rubber belt. This should be put in place once
the stirrer has been checked for free rotation. The motor switch is on the
top of the motor housing and is turned on or off by rotating in a clockwise
direction. |
