Pressure Gauge

The apparatus has two pressure gauges each of which shows the GAUGE pressure in kPa. For use with the thermodynamic charts, these gauge readings will have to be converted to ABSOLUTE pressure. One atmosphere corresponds to 1.01325 x 105 Pa.

These gauges are mechanical and use the deformation of a curved, sealed, hollow tube to indicate its internal pressure. Such a gauge is called a Bourdon tube gauge.
