Freon 12

Freon 12 is the Dupont trade name for flurocarbon refrigerant gas, CCl₂F₂.
The material has a molecular weight of 120.92. Its critical constants are:

T_c = 385 K, p_c = 41.2 bars, and Z_c = (p_cv_c / R T_c ) = 0.278

The saturated liquid at 20 C has a specific heat of 0.96 kJ/ kg.K and at -20 C the specific heat is 0.90 kJ/ kg.K.
