Crosshead Hydraulic Lift

The crosshead position can be adjusted using the hydraulic lift. The control buttons for the lift are on the top right hand side of the loadframe base unit. The hydraulic pump must be active (not in the standby mode) for the lift to function.

Unclamp the crosshead and make sure that the safety clamp ring will not prevent the intended motion.

Use the Raise or Lower buttons to relocate the Crosshead. Clamp the Crosshead in its new location and move the safety ring so that it will prevent downward motion of the Crosshead in the event of a hydraulic pressure failure.


ONCE THE CROSSHEAD HAS BEEN REPOSITIONED, THE SAFETY CLAMP MUST BE RELOCATED AND CLAMPED IN THE NEW POSITION BEFORE A MACHINE RUN
