Data description

• Column 1: year. (1970, 1980, 1990 and 2000)
• Column 2: age, (0-85)
• Column 3: race, 1=white, 0=black
• Column 4: gender, 1=female, 0=male
• Column 5: population (by age, race and gender)
• Column 6: cause of death, 1=CVD, 21=all cancers, 22=lung cancer, 3=other
• Column 7: number of deaths
• Column 8: cause-specific death rate
