Course Description. An introduction to modal and many-valued logics, with emphasis on philosophical motivation through a study of applications and paradoxes.

Prerequisites. PHI 201, or an equivalent, or a more advanced logic course.

Required Textbooks.

Some additional articles will either be handed out in class or posted to the course web site.

Lectures. Tues & Thurs, 11:00am-12:20pm in Frist Campus Center, Room 234

Precepts. This course has no precepts.
