RESEARCH
My research is a study of the turbulent boundary layer on a flat plate at Reynolds numbers up to
300,000,000. I will take surveys using both pitot probes and hot wires to acquire velocity profiles
and turbulence data; preston probes will be used to get the skin friction. In addition, we will study
the wake behind the plate.
