Scanning surfaces

The scan surfaces feature scans multiple surface results for the currently selected attribute in the currently selected loadcase for the maximum, minimum, absolute maximum or absolute minimum values. A new permanent loadcase is created containing the results of the scan operation. The new command is:

RESULTS CALCULATE SCAN SURFACES loadname MAX/MIN/ABSMAX/ABSMIN description.



Where: loadname = name of the loadcase to be created containing the scan output.

description = brief description of this loadcase.

Example:

RESULTS LOADCASE L1 1

RESULTS NODAL STRESS S11

RESULTS CALCULATE SCAN SURFACES scan2

Criterion=> MIN

Description=> Minimum nodal stresses
