Overview

This interface exists as part of the FEMGV executable and may be initiated from within the main program. The interface scans the FEMGEN database and writes the data to a text file in the form of an ABAQUS input deck. The interface can be configured locally to produce input decks which are compatible with either ABAQUS 4.9 and either the Standard or Explicit Versions of ABAQUS 5.x (see section 1.4). It is assumed that the reader is familiar with FEMGV Versions 4.0 or later and any ABAQUS version between 4.9 and 5.8.
