The FEMVIEW display data sets must be built for any new model. This process is performed by routine DIBLD. This process can only be done after all of the model geometry data has been processed into the FEMVIEW database. The data structure must be built for any new model prior to entering another model. If results are being appended to an existing model it is not necessary to rebuild the FEMVIEW display data sets. If DIHED or DISTP are called to enter another model or finish a session without the user having called DIBLD, the FEMVIEW display data sets are created automatically (unless results were being appended to an existing model). It is not possible to call DIBLD if data is being output to a neutral character file.
