Models which already exist in the FEMVIEW database may be combined to form assemblies.

Transformations may optionally be used to correctly locate the components of an assembly.

Assemblies may be constructed from models, other assemblies, or a mixture of the two. This functionality is provided in routine DIASS. The use of this routine must be preceded by a call to DIHED with OPCODE = 3, and followed by a call to DILIM. The name of the new assembly is given in DIHED, and its constituent parts and transformations are defined in DIASS.
