Location: Over the Menai Straits, Wales, Great Britain.
Built: Completed in 1826
Type: Chain-suspension bridge
Dimensions: Main Span: 580 feet
Material: Wrought iron

Notes:

The bridge deck suffered damage in 1839 in a strong gale. The deck was eventually replaced in 1893 using steel. The entire structure was rehabilitated in 1940.
