Chronicle on Women's Hoops, Jenkins on
WNBA July 25, 2002
The Chronicle published their send-home issue
today, and it included a couple of articles related to women's
hoops. The first is by one of their better writers these days, Nick Christie. It's a summary of where the program
is now and addresses the potential problem of chemistry on next
year's team. They also had an article on the history of Title IX at
Duke, but that one has yet to be linked.

"I think the draft definitely sent a message.
All our kids want to do is dunk and run. They've got to get
back to fundamentals. The guys over there work a lot harder on
shooting and dribbling and passing, and in a lot of cases they
are doing more with less talent." Nets Coach Byron
