B&W Astrophotos
Some faint emission nebulae look best when processed in black
and white, using only the red part of the image. This is for
the reason that these nebulae emit mainly in the deep red,
where human eyes are relatively insensitive. There is not
much information in the blue and green parts of the negatives.
