Positions:

A. President – Only sophomores, juniors or seniors with a minimum of one year of active board participation in the Society are eligible for the office of President. The President shall preside over all meetings, special events, and agenda setting. The President will delegate responsibilities to both officers and members.

B. Vice President – This person shall assist the President in fulfilling all necessary duties of his/her position and in meeting the expectations of the Society. The Vice President will assist the President in preparing meetings, delegating responsibilities to other members, and setting the agenda. Should the President be absent, the Vice President will conduct the meetings and carry out the duties of President.

C. Secretary – This person shall be responsible for all correspondence of the organization and maintaining the records of each meeting. The Secretary will keep a role of attendance and be required to compile an information letter outlining the dates and meetings and any other pertinent information pertaining to members.

D. Treasurer – This person shall be responsible for maintaining accurate records of the Society’s monetary funds. The Treasurer shall also be responsible for assisting in grant writing, and collecting proceeds from fundraisers.

E. Social and Publicity Chair – This person shall be responsible for coordinating campaigns to advertise events and planning socially-oriented events. He or she will need to advertise events through posters, announcements, point.princeton.edu messages, and other mediums.

F. LSAT Prep Chair – This person shall be responsible for all information pertaining to LSAT courses, study sessions, and general LSAT information. Note: The duties of the LSAT Prep Chair can be subsumed into the office of any other board member in case there is no LSAT Prep Chair.

G. Conference Director – This person shall be responsible for organizing the yearly Pre-Law Conference.

H. Mentoring-Internship Coordinator: This person shall be responsible for organizing the Pre-Law Mentorship program. This will entail creating the relevant forms, contacting Alumni, and all other duties that are needed to connect students with lawyer alumni on a one-on-one basis. Note: The duties of the Mentoring-Internship Coordinator can be subsumed into the office of any other board member in case there is no Mentoring-Internship Coordinator.

I. Law School Tour Coordinator and Publicity Assistant: This person shall be responsible for organizing law school trips during the year. Additionally, during times when the Coordinator is not organizing a law school trip, he or she will serve as the Publicity Assistant, helping to advertise events through posters, announcements, point.princeton.edu messages, and other mediums.
