Class Notes - November 17, 1999
From the Archives
There's something stronger than fruit punch in that cut-glass bowl, and
the six members of the Class of 1892 have certainly been celebrating. We
know their names-from left, Stevenson, Butler, Wilson, Pearson, Small, and
Williams-but not the occasion. The poster on the door suggests it may have
been the founding in 1890 of the Princeton University Athletic Association,
the first group to organize the spirited but largely informal forms of sport
at Princeton.
