Scanning loadcases

The scan loadcases feature scans the currently selected loadcases for the maximum, minimum, absolute maximum or absolute minimum values of the components of the attribute(s) specified by the user. A new permanent loadcase is created containing the results of the scan operation. The new command is:



RESULTS CALCULATE SCAN LOADCASES loadname MAX/MIN/ABSMAX/ABSMIN description attribute.



Where: loadname = name of the loadcase to be created containing the scan output.

description = brief description of this loadcase. attribute = results attribute to scan over.

Example:

RESULTS LOADCASE L1 1 TO L1 25

RESULTS CALCULATE SCAN LOADCASES scan1

Criterion=> MAX

Description=> Maximum nodal stresses

Attribute=> NODAL STRESS
