Forms
FEMGV 6 includes the introduction of a PROPERTY
form to allow easy input/editing of the LOADS & INITIAL conditions as well as
the PHYSICAL and MATERIAL properties (that were introduced in FEMGV 5.1-02) for Windows
95/98/NT installations.
The property form can be accessed from the tool bar menu using the <Tool> <Property
manager> option. Editing of each property can be achieved by double clicking on
the relevant box. Scrolling is available either by using the mouse or the TAB key.
The form also offers editing a property when added, adjustable column width and an
optional sorting facility (i.e. by the property name or it’s value).
For each analysis environment interface developers can specify the range of load/initial/material/physical
types and names of properties parameters allowing the user to more easily understand
the instance definitions. The data for the load/initial/material/physical properties
forms are derived from two sources, the analiq Fortran file and the useriq
resource file (for more details about these two files, please refer to the FG User
Routines manual). The resource file may be specified using the environment variable
(i.e. FEMSYS_GLOBAL_ANALYSIS = path and filename), otherwise the default is set to
read properties from the useriq.res file that is situated in the current directory
.
