Article on graphene-based composites for enhanced Li-ion insertion has entered the top 20 "most downloaded" list for ACS Nano
An article published in ACS Nano on the self-assembly of TiO2-graphene hybrid nanostructures is now in the journal's list of "most downloaded" articles for the past 12 months. The research, done at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in collaboration with Prof. Ilhan Aksay, describes the stabilization of graphene in suspension and its subsequent decoration by in situ grown nanoparticles of TiO2. The hybrid material shows significantly enhanced Li-ion insertion and extraction, doubled the specific capacity of pure TiO2.
