LIT 132: Comparative American Literatures
Summer 2001 -- HOW TO SEE LONE STAR AGAIN

You have two options for seeing John Sayles's "Lone Star" a second (or third) time:

Option 1:    Go to the Language Resource Center (100 Jones Hall), check out a VHS or DVD reserve copy, and watch it there.

Option 2:    Watch a digital version in a select campus computer cluster.  The message below describes where and how to access the digital version:

    TO: W. GLEASON
FROM: THE LANGUAGE RESOURCE CENTER (100 JONES HALL)
    DATE: AUGUST 10, 2001

Lone Star is now on the server for LIT132.

Here are the current instructions on where and how to access films in clusters (two new locations have been added):

        Forbes Library
       100 Jones Hall (LRC)
        McCosh B59
        Frist (200 and 300 level)
        Julian Street Library (Wilcox)
        Mathey College (Upper Madison)
        Graduate College

Students have to bring their own headset in all locations except 100 Jones.  Students have to use Dell computers and it is imperative that they log on (and not a previous user), open Explorer or Netscape and enter dmc1 in the address field (nothing else). Then log on again with the same password as before.

Any problems and questions should be sent to lrc@princeton.edu.
